Coastal and valley communities will see only trace amounts of rain, while mountain areas could accumulate close to a quarter inch. Most areas will remain relatively dry, with the best chances for measurable rainfall confined to higher elevations.

Strong winds will increase across the region, particularly in the mountains and deserts. Wind gusts are expected to reach 35 to 45 mph, with isolated gusts as high as 60 mph in wind-prone areas such as mountain passes.
