Automatic Promotion

The two teams that finish with the most points after all 46 regular season matches automatically earn promotion to the Premier League. These are the first and second place teams in the final Championship standings. There is no further competition needed for these teams to advance.

Playoff Tournament

Teams finishing in third through sixth place enter a playoff tournament to compete for the final promotion spot. The playoffs are structured as semi-finals followed by a final match. The winner of this playoff tournament receives the third promotion place to the Premier League.

Points System

Teams earn three points for a win and one point for a draw in each match. Losing a match results in zero points. The final standings are determined by total points accumulated, with goal difference used as a tiebreaker if two teams have equal points.

Season Structure

The Championship season runs from August to May. Each team plays 46 matches, facing other teams twice (home and away). The regular season determines which teams qualify for automatic promotion and which teams enter the playoffs.
