The Sphere is a state-of-the-art entertainment venue built by the Madison Square Garden Company. Opening and First Show
The Sphere opened its doors to the public on September 29, 2023, after several years of construction and development. The opening featured a custom film experience called 'Postcard from Earth,' directed by acclaimed filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. This immersive experience was created specifically for the Sphere's unique 16K resolution display system.
Advanced Technology
The Sphere's exterior is covered with 1.2 million individual LED pucks that create dynamic visual displays visible from across Las Vegas. Inside, the venue features a state-of-the-art sound system and massive curved screen that provides an immersive viewing experience. The technology allows for both pre-recorded content and live performances to be displayed with exceptional clarity and detail.
