About Moda Center

Arena Name History
The arena was originally called the Rose Garden when it first opened in 1995. It kept this name for over 20 years. In 2017, Moda Health purchased the naming rights, and the venue was renamed Moda Center. This reflected a change in sponsorship but did not change the location or primary use as the Trail Blazers' home.
