Gianna Bryant was Kobe's second daughter with his wife Vanessa. She was a talented middle school basketball player who aspired to play in the WNBA. Gianna was known for her skills and passion for the game, following in her father's footsteps. She attended Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles.
The Helicopter Crash
On January 26, 2020, Kobe and Gianna, along with seven other people, died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. The helicopter was flying in foggy conditions when it crashed into a hillside. The National Transportation Safety Board investigated the accident, which became a major news story worldwide.
