Contract and Signing

The Baltimore Ravens agreed to sign Joe Fagnano as an undrafted free agent to a three-year contract. The signing was confirmed on April 28, 2026. Fagnano will join the Ravens' 90-man offseason roster behind starting quarterback Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley.

2025 Season Performance

In his final college season at UConn in 2025, Fagnano started 12 games and completed 69 percent of his passes for 3,448 yards with 28 touchdowns and just one interception. Among 130 FBS quarterbacks with at least 210 dropbacks that season, Fagnano was the only one to throw fewer than two interceptions.

College Career

Fagnano spent four seasons at the University of Maine before transferring to UConn in 2023. In his first year with the Huskies, he played in just two games before a shoulder injury ended his season. In 2024, he appeared in 10 games with six starts and was named the offensive MVP of UConn's Fenway Bowl victory. The NCAA granted him a hardship waiver to return for his seventh college season in 2025.

Draft Profile

Fagnano was ranked No. 270 on Dane Brugler's top 300 big board and was the 10th-ranked quarterback in the draft class. Brugler characterized him as a fundamentally sound passer with fluid release velocity who projects as an NFL reserve and will need to prove he can fit balls into tighter windows at the professional level.
